AMSTERDAM (Nov. 16, 2017) — Mercury Marine has been awarded a 2017 Boat Builder Award in the category of retail marketing initiative during the annual METSTRADE show in Amsterdam. 

Mercury’s Go Boldly brand message and global advertising campaign was recognized by a panel of judges in a category that featured global boat builders and engine suppliers.  Go Boldly, which officially launched in January 2017, focuses on the boating experience, celebrating why people boat and instilling confidence in boaters.”

“We are honored to receive the Boat Builder award for our Go Boldly campaign,” said Michelle Dauchy, chief marketing officer of Mercury Marine. “Since its launch earlier this year, we have heard from consumers around the world who have been inspired by the campaign’s message which exudes confidence and a sense of adventure out on the water.”

The Boat Builder Awards are now in its 3rd year and coordinated METSTRADE and IBI to recognize individual and team success within boat building companies globally across the eight categories of business achievement.

Mercury’s Go Boldly campaign has been featured at boat shows around the world as well as advertising, branding and digital platforms translated in more than 16 languages.
